Subject: Oil Valve rattle???? IP: Logged
Message: There's a blue valve (I'm assuming it's a valve) that comes out of my valve cover that rattles. Is it supposed to rattle or does that mean something's wrong? Thanks

Message: Passenger rear? Has a hose attached to one end" Slides into the valve grommet on the other? If so, it sounds like a PCV valve. It's supposed to rattel. When it doesn't, replace it.

Message: just replace it anyway, well at least if its been 30k + since you replaced it. its only 3-5 bucks and your wallet will thank you when you dont have to replace an oil seal from it wearing out and not working
