Message: Here's a strange problem. My 01 Dakota Quad Cab (V6) slips out of gear momentarily ONLY while making left hand turns. I had a problem with the solenoid pressure switch last year and replaced it along with the filter and had the fluid flushed and changed. Weird
Has anyone heard of such a thing?

Message: yep. check your fluid level. may be a little low. when you hang that left turn all the fluid sloshes to the side and there isnt enough in the pan, the line gets air in it and it slips out of gear.
take it for a short drive, park on level ground in neutral with the ebrake on and check your level, should be in the "safe" area. top it off with ATF+4 only. swing by your dealer and grab a quart or two

Make sure you are in neutral, NOT PARK! Park will give you a false reading.
