Subject: Mopar PCM IP: Logged
Message: I have a 99 R/T and was wondering what the difference is between the Mopar performance computer and the stock computer. They both have P/N P5007107. How can I tell what computer I have without buying the mopar one and installing it to see any difference. I don't want to buy a new computer if I don't need to. Thanks for any help.

Message: the performance computer adds spark, adjusts your timing and fuel curve, moves limiter to 6000rpm, and locks out ac at wot for more performance. The perf. comps do not come on the r/t from factory if thats what your trying to find out.

Message: If your computer has the same number, it's the same computer! The stock comp. will not have a "P" in front of the number, that is what designates it as a Mopar Performance part.
