 Subject: Relocating IAT into Fernco rubber conn..

I have just finished building my air intake system and trying to decide where to put the IAT. What are the pros/cons of just cutting a hole and placing it in the fernco rubber connecter?

Con - might see a dip in mileage due to the PCM thinking the air is colder than it is, especially if you have a 180 thermostat. Might.
Pro - more power is a good thing because the PCM thinks the air is colder than it is.
