Subject: 4 wheel drive hub lock HELP NOW!! IP: Logged
Message: ok heres the story, my 4wd did not work for a while due to the front vaccum actuator was stuck, so i took off the vaccum hoses and sprayed in some WD40 and it worked great until i left in 4wd overnight and then it got stuck, the tranfer case dissengaged but the front hubs stayed locked, well after more WD40 and alot of cussing a swearing it didnt budge, so im tearing apart the whole little assebly to clean it and un budges it,
anyone ever hadany experience with this that can offer some tips/ advise

Message: I GOT IT!!!
all i did was take off the whole vaccum switch motor assembly off and claned it all out, a big chunk of crap cam out of the vaccum actuator and now it works jsut fine

Message: Nice job ;-) heh.. wouldn't manual locking hubs fix that also? Heh.. to bad they aren't offered to us :(

Message: well i got it working good, jsut need to make my diffy fluid in the front is full next oil change
