Message: There arent any typical "suspension lifts" for those Daks. You can still turn the torsion bars, and that will get you about 1.5". You can then add a 2" body lift, which will enable you to put on 31" tires. I did all of this, and my front end went from 6" of clearance to about 10.5" of clearance under there. Not bad for pennies.
This was done about 12 months ago, and 20,000 miles, and havent had one problem from it.

Message: JC WHitney has some 2in Spacers for 4wd Daks. I have a 90' 2wd Dak witht the spacers. Work fine. Not the lift I wanted but hopefully someone will make one soon. Good Luck.

Message: Has anyone made a lift kit yet for the 4 wheel drive dakota? I was looking to be able to put 35 or 36 size tires on my truck. I have already turned the torsion bars up on the truck. I was getting ready to put a 3 inch body under it. And I was just wondering about suspension. Any advice would be appreciated.Thank You
