Subject: dakota lift kits? IP: Logged
Message: heyy, i was wondering if anyone knew about lift kits for 86-96 dodge dakotas. ive been looking
but havent found anythingg.
im more of a lifted jeep person but i have the
chance to get a dakota for like 200 bucks and
all it needs is a timing chain. i dont know
much about them though..
any help??

Message: Trailmaster is the only company to 'mass produce' a suspension lift (4"). There was another company (Tuff Country) that proto-typed one years ago, but didn't follow through with production. I think due to low demand, they are made to order these days. I would suggest 4Wheel Parts Wholesalers to get it thru. They list it cheaper than Trailmaster themselves! Expect a price tag around $2K and the fact that you will need to change from stock wheels to a deeper off-set to clear the front spindle extensions. There's another few hundred $$$.
As for body lifts (2" or 3") Performance Accessories seems to be the least expensive at about $300. I think you can get this thru $Wheel Parts Wholesalers as well.

Much lol. Ill probly just do some body lift till I can afford something better. Maybe like an old 80's ford f250!! :D thankss againn thoughhh.
