Message: all depends on what u wanna spend.do a search at summitracing.com and that will give ya some choices.if u wanna hear some look up dakotas on youtubbe.com some people have put there on there showin what they sound like.as for tires if u crank the tbars u MIGHT get away with the tires u want.as for the vibration i have no idea could be a number of things maybe a bad c/v joint or bearing.

Message: Justin - I think you must mean torsion bars. That is actually one way of doing a lift. Typically we see up to 2" extra height in the front. You should get an alignment afterward; and that may shed some light on your steering vibration problem.

Message: hey thanks guys. i will see what i can afford, umm yea i found the vibration problem my left front tire is rubing the frame just a small bit when i turn hard right, cause their is a small shiny spot of metal on it now(lol) But yea when i get the money i will try and fit them tires on it, crank the tension bars and hope for the best!

Message: Justin - there are no "tension" bars on a Dakota, unless you are towing with a weight distributing hitch. That would be an example of bars carrying a load with tension. What you mean to say is TORSION bars - that is how the front end of our 4x4 trucks are suspended. They carry the load by resisting a twisting motion; not one in tension.
