Message: That year came with tow hooks as a factory option.
If you search, you'll find a website that shows the installation.
On my 02 QC, factory tow hooks were not an option. I had a friend of my father-in-laws weld me up some brackets to the frame of the truck. The tow hooks i used came off s-10 blazer, 80s or early 90s, the boxy style, not the round curvy one.
I got the deal on this, he only charged me $80 for the brackets.

Message: Mac those are universal tow hooks, you can get those all over (4 wheel parts, advance, autozone, northern tool, tsc, etc)
The 97-99 came with a bracket that bolted to the frame and had a "cross member" that connected to two hooks together for added strength.

Message: Don't want to use any universal ones really because it would be hard to get them on without cutting or welding something to my truck, and I won't do that.
Dan M do you happen to know if theres anyone online who sells them, I can't seem to find somewhere that still sells them. I did see a picture of a Dak with them on it and that is what I want, if you know of a place or two that might still have them it would be great.

Message: I recall finding some places some time ago when i was looking for some after market stuff that sold oem mopar parts. I found them using yahoo, I could not find them using google.
You can try salvage yard
You can try a local dealer. Dealers have a system they can advertise parts they have to other dealers. I found my front suspension skid plate this way. I called my local dealer who didn't have it, they looked in this system and found a handfull of dealers who said they had it. My local dealer gave me the contact info for the dealers and after making a few calls, I found a dealer in new york with it in stock, paid via credit card and they shipped it to me. The NY dealer was a little shocked that I was calling them directly from GA about this part. They asked me several times if I really wanted the part (apparently some other people have tried to swindle them or refused acceptance of the part)
You can look at pictures, take measurements and fab your own.
Good luck

Message: Mine has the 3in Rancho suspension lift, and no my tires don't rub at all except for that one time that I went to NC and jumped the washouts in the beach. Had a couple of clean spots in my fenderwells after that trip.:)
