I WILL BE INSTALLING A POWERTRAX NO SLIP IN AN OLDER DAKOTA SOMETIME NEXT MONTH!IS THERE ANYONE OUT THERE WITH THIS UNIT INSTALLED THAT IS ALSO USING ROYAL PURPLE IN FRONT AND REAR DIFFERENTIAL?
I WAS TOLD THAT IT(ROYAL PURPLE) COULD CAUSE PROBLEMS IN THE REAR AXLE THAT IT MAY BE TO SLIPPERY AND CAUSE GEARS TO SLIP WHEN THEY ARE NOT TO??
ANYONE HAVE THIS PROBLEM??
PLEASE LET ME KNOW YOUR THOUGHTS/COMMENTS!!
THANKS IN ADVANCE..............

it should not cause a problem.
i had some issues with what i think was cheap cheap oil
and also a quart that had friction modifier in it and the locker would stick
but the "gears" should not slip with synthetic oil,
im not running RP but mobile 1 and have had nothing but good luck on locker #3
