Message: looks great, but can it perform?
There are some heavy duty mods in there...and definately lots of work and fab time, but isnt it to tall to really perform off road? I am most certainately NOT dawging murfdawg on his work, but his CoG has got to be so high for the clearance that his 38's provide to makes it not a viable trail truck... the base of the cab sits at about 40" off the ground..but the diffs are still sitting with only about 15" of clearance....
I do have to say that the engineering of the components looks great!.

Message: Sweet? This isn´t suspension, this is stilts. And this vehicle is completely undriveable, both due to driveline angle and steering geometry. And how is this "suspension" supposed to function? It has´t any springs worth mentioning and at first obstacle what is to prevent the front wheels from swinging backwards, exept for those meager shock absorbers. In short, I wouldn´t touch it with asbestos gloves.

Message: It sounds like all of you minus the first two are a little jealous. Sure, you guys will be the first to knock that his 38's are too small, and how you don't like the suspension and steering setup, etc...But I know you all are secretly drooling over his solid axles. The only thing I can POSSIBLY think of to gripe about is not going to a dana 60 with those 38's. And to villtur, I believe he said he had 14" and 17" travel fox shox. Those aren't meager, and theyre coilover shocks, so there's your springs. Instead if bitching over how you hate his suspension learn how a 4-link setup works first. Ignorance is a terrible thing.

Message: No jealousy here, only common sense. I´m from Iceland and here we, including myself, are able to build functioning vehicles, so there is no question of ignorance on my behalf. But I tell you this one is downright dangerous. But in the land of freedom people may kill themselves any which way they choose, only if they don´t hit innocent bystanders. And I agree completely with the purple monster, sem gaman væri að sjá; the pond of ignorance is a terrible thing.

Message: Great job!!
Who ever said that that suspension is not functional dosen't
know about off road suspensions.
That suspension looks as if it has 20 or more inches of travel
that is HUGE!
Nice work!

Message: I don't see the point. Looks retarded and the axles look like they are the same height off the ground as a stock truck. What's the point in raising it so much if the axles stay stock. you're still driving around obsticals in that crap All I can see is that it's got all kinds of room to flex and you could drive in some deep water I guess.

Message: dude think about it goin from a 30" tall tire to a 38" or maybe 40" tall tire the center point of the 30 is 15" and a 38 or 40 is 19 or 20 inches that 5 more inches of axle height not to mention the 2 foot of flex the guys got that an ifs would never have why ....... cuz if you could flex an ifs 2 foot it would still have the axle hangin the same spot the solid axle will move up and down. hello knock knock class are you still there
class dismissed

Message: I don't care what you guys say, that's a BADASS truck. You guys wouldn't say this crap right to that guys face, so don't knock it now. You all would be hard pressed to find a truck that tough even on the best trails.
