Subject: My own offroad shop IP: Logged
Message: I was thinking today after putting a lift on my aunt's jeep, about opening my own offroad shop.
i was just wondering what you guys thought of this considering that the only one around here that i know of went out of business. i mean it wouldn't be anything hardcore but i mean doing something every now and then.
Also where could i get some cheap lifts, like cheap money wise but not quality wise, to sell to my costomers (If i do this).

Message: if you do a shop like that, you will go out of business if all you do is lifts. you will have to some regular maintance and repairs instead of only putting lifts and stuff like that on. every custom shop like that has some sort of "bread and butter" to support what they really like to do. even OCC (orange county choppers) has the steel mill to support the custom bikes they make. if not for some other way of getting money, and custom shop will probabily fail. Message: don't forget to get liability insurance. cause if you install a lift and something bad happens, guess who they'll come after first.
...just something to think about
