Subject: how the heck do i install coil spacers IP: Logged
Message: I just bought some coil spacers (used) and have know clue how to install them. I don't even know which coil compressors to use, the ones that clamp on the inside, or the outside. What exactly are the procedures on putting them on.

Message: the ones that clamp on on the inside are better. you pull the spindle off.
Obviously have a jack under the lower a arm.
Compress the spring. pull it out. install the spacer then reinstall the spring and the spindle.
youll need longer shocks

Message: its most likely gonna have to be a extended shock ( however much you end up lifting the truck) but as for shocks everyone has a opinion. I like the KYB and pro comp 9000. I recently switched to pro comp 9000 and love them. go for 3000s in the rear and 9000 up front I took the 9000 all the way around but I haul tools in the bed of my truck so it doesnt bother me. if its unloaded going over a bump is stiff

Message: I have coil spacers, I didn't need an extended shock. might want to see what people used that have the fabtech as its the same amount of lift.
