Message: Do Dakotas offroad well? Does a bear sh*t in the woods? Look under Got an Amazing Dakota story. I started the post after pulling an f250 off the trail, and then pulling out a bronco on 44's. I'm running a body lift and 33's. Oh and by the way, listen to me and fourxfour. v6 magnums are great wheeling engines. I've sucked so much water into this thing and it still runs like a champ. Granted they don't have the power of a v8, but then again everyone I know who wheels a v8 has put at least 2-3 motors in. Me and all my friends wheel v6'ers and ford I-6's, and they pull out everyone else.
How deep can that pond possibly be?

Message: look for an 02 with rack and pinion steering and a torsion bar. try to find one with a stock towing package because the frame and axles are basically Dana-quality. the 04 have a spring over shock suspension which is weaker and wont take near the pounding the torsion bar set up will. good luck
