Message: I made a little mod to my exhaust yesterday. For those that dont know, I had duals running out the rear. Well, the left tailpipe kept getting hit on stuff off road, and breaking the hanger on that side. I noticed it broke again yesterday, so I decided to put an end to it. I just took the trusty hack saw and cut off both tail pipes, right where they come over the rear axle under the bed. I cut them right after they crossed over the axle, and started pointing down again. Now, they arent hanging down anymore to get caught on anything, and wont be any trouble. Was suprised that it made it a little quieter. Figured if anything it would be louder but its not. Actually quieter than before. Sure, I dont have the "look" anymore of the duals coming out the rear, but, function takes a priority with me over looks. Will try and get some new pics showing the exhaust mod and the new tires when I can.
