you could change your rims to 15x8 no problem .The backspacing comes into play when you do a lift (suspension) because your knuckles and upper arm in the 2wd will be close to the rim rub and flatten a tire or mess up a brake line ........We need to knoe if it's a 2wd and what do you plan on doing or a 4by and wht do you plan on doing .............I have a 2001 quad 2wd with the fabtech 3" lift and eagle 589's 15x8 with 3 1/4 backspacing becuase of the lift , looks good , looks better than stockers , Oh I have 31" tires ............

hey dude if youre in the So Cal area Ill trade you rims and tires given your tires are in pretty new shape. i have 15x8 stock rims with 33 Mud king tires that only have 3000 miles on them
let me knwo if youre intrested. ill do you a straight trade if your tires are almost new like mine. I started to use the truck for work again and getting tired of the tire hum

i have a 4x4 qc 01. 16x8 with goodyears. (oe)
i want to get pro comp X's but they have none that fit a 16x8 rim (ok that is a lie) the 33 fit but not on a stock dak. they have a 31" that fits on a 15x8 rim so i was thinking about going to the smaller rims. Can't afford a sup lift and body lift is up in the air (cause of winch). so the next thing would be to get new wheels. maybe down the road i'll go and get the body and or the sup lift.
rob454,
i'm in central maryland. just a bit to far. other wise i might consider it.
