Subject: tire size and rim???? IP: Logged
Message: Is it possible to run 33 X 12.5 r15 on factory rims? I have a 98 dakota 4x4 with a 3" rancho suspension lift. I have been told that it could be done but i would like some more input on the idea. I will be running yokohama geolander at.
Thanx's,
matt

Message: I'm running 33 X 13.5 Baja Claw's on a set of
factory 15 X 7 rims. Tight squeze I know. The
only problem so far is a realy bad wear pattern
But I would not recomend this set up. I'm now
waiting for a set of 15 X 10's to get it right.

Message: Yes it can be done. Many people here are running 33x12.5's on stock rims. FortWorth4x4 is even running 35x12.5's on his. You will probably have a little rubbing though on the frame at full turn because the factory backspacing of 5.5" keeps them tucked in pretty good.
