Subject: RS9000 Shocks IP: Logged
Message: Anyone ever have a problem with squeaking when
going over road bumps ,small bumps too, with
Ranchos RS9000 shocks? Rear shocks.

Message: Check the bolts top and bottom.
I have those shocks and I found that my front left shock was making noise. Turned out to be the bottom bolt had come loose. Ive tightened a few times but still seems to come loose, going back to the shop next week to have it fixed.

Message: Another question; this is kinda stupid...but...
is it possible to install shocks up-side down,
the reason I`m asking is that the rear Ranchos
where put in with rod in the top position,while
the front Ranchos where put in with the rod in
the bottom position, does it make any difference
or doesn`t it matter?

Message: are those shocks nice ones? Are there better ones to look for? I'm gonna be gettin the 5.5" lift/ SHpould I get the shocks that come with the lift or opt for seperate ones?

Message: I have Rancho RS9000 shocks on my 99 CC 4x4.
I even have the in-cab Rs7000 air control kit.
No problems yet.
Yes, the shocks in the back can be turned upside down
