Subject: exhaust hitting when lowered? IP: Logged
Message: I am getting the DJM 3-5 drop and wondering about the exhaust hitting the axle or any other part? I heard about this and was wondering what to do. any help would be greaty appreciated. thanks

Message: you shouldn't have a clearance problem as long as the pipe is higher than the bump stop above the axle. but you might want to double check just to be safe.

Message: It's going to hit sooner or later. you may have to get a turn down before the axle.

Message: I had an aftermarket exhaust on when i got my 4" drop in the rear, and it hit the axle all the time. So i had to trash that exhaust and got a turn out in front of the axle. Just saves a lot of hassle that way too.

Message: yeah i had the same problem with mine with a 4 inch block. it seems that the pipe is too big because the block would not fit with it being 4 inches.
