Message: I have had my 99 dak lowered 3/5 for a while and I decided to go a little lower..my question is: Can I go 7 inches in the back with the AIM C-Section notches and still clear?..I think the notch gives you about 2 inches so i should have the same clearance that i do now..just wanted to check with the experts before i didnt something that i cant undo and that doesnt work properly.

Message: the only thing i would be careful with is what size c-notch you get cause if you ever decide to bag it or go lower your frame will already be hacked and is lot harder to take of already welded on c-notch to put bigger one on cause then you have to use stands to properly balance out the frame cause there will be nothing holding it together. So just be careful on wht size c-notch you go.

Message: Hey man ive got the same 3\5 drop and then i put 2 inch blocks on the back to lower it more but the bump stops are hitting the axles. I pretty much knew what was going to happen but i was hoping maybe i was wrong. Well i can see that the bump stops are pretty thick, I was wondering if i could file them down a bit just to give me some clearance.

Message: yeah man you can file them off..just make sure that you dont file it to far because the head of the bolt is inside there and you dont want to file all the way to it because then when it does bottom out it will hit metal and not give any..it can be done just be careful
