Subject: V6 Suspension IP: Logged
Message: Hey, I have a '97 Dakota sport, RC SB 3.9 5speed. I run RT rims w/ 275/40ZR17 in the summer and 235/75R15 in the winter. I want a subtle (sp) drop. I was looking at an RT suspension for my truck, but I wanted to know this: With the 3.9 being a lighter motor, would the front end drop be less than the rear end, or would it balance out, and look good? Thanks, Aaron

Message: it would probably drop less than an inch with RT springs in front; i dont know how cheap u can get RT springs for, but it might be better off just to get drop springs specifically for a V6, for around $100 (cheaper if u want to gamble on ebay springs)...hope this helps..peace

Message: Thanks for your reply, I've been shopping online for something, but all of the kits i've found are like 2/4 or 3/5, I'd probably drop it 2 all the way around, but I can't find any sites that give me a rear drop of 2. Do you know anywhere where I could build my own drop kit? Thanks again, Aaron

Message: get hotchkis or groundforce springs 2 inch up front and some 2 inch blocks in rear or some 2 inch leafs if they make them hotchkis might.
