Message: I am getting new shocks to fit the application (Western Chassis 2" A arms & 4" shckle/hangars). Which ones will get me the smoothest ride. I'm talking comfort here, not cornering. Bernd has talked favorably about KYB Monomax. Do they make one for my drop? BTW, I've got a '97" Sport, extended cab, 5.2L. Thanks, David

Message: What about Toxic Shocks??? I saw them it the summit catalog and am going to be lowering soon. I know that they won't compare to say bliestens but are they decent for the money? I'm looking for a balance between handling and ride quality.
Thanks

Message: my toxics ride great, slightly different than stock, but I am pretty impressed. I figured they would ride like shyt cause they came with the DJM kit. I believe belltech shocks are the smoothest, I had Doetsch tech on my old s-10 and it rode super stiff, but I had changed out my coils and leafs in that truck. On My dak, just have 3" control arms, 5" shackle hangers, and 1" block. rides almost the same as stock, a little less body roll cause of the lower center of gravity and slightly stiffer aftermarket toxic shocks, but overall, I cant complain.
P.S. lots of driving on horrible potholed Hollywood streets.

Message: what will drop shocks do to the ride? Im
running stockers on a 2/3 drop. they absorb
bumps okay, a lot of bounce though! Watch
them whoops!
