Just lowered my 99 sport 2/2 ,what do I do with end links ?

They are too long now ,does someone sell them for lowered dakotas or do I have to make them?

Also are they a taper fit like a ball joint or just bolted to lower control arm?

Does anyone sell poly link bushings?

u sure they're too long? i'm just not sure if u'd have a problem with a 2" drop. do they scrape along the inside edge of the wheels when u turn it all the way? also, if u have like 17s or 18s it gets rid of the problem too.
but, i dont think anyone makes shorter ones, i actually thought about shortening them and welding back together. wasn't sure if it'd work tho. I took it off when i was dropped on my stock rims; when i got my 18s i put it back on no problem.
they r attached to the arms with kinda balljoints. just unbolt both from the sway bar first, then undo the bolt to the arm and muscle it out. And i bought some poly bushings from Pepboys. like 8 of em in a package. tight fit, but they worked. Hope this helps. Peace

Yeah Dan ,I'm sure there too long ,they push the swaybar up at an angle so it's crushing the lower bushing all cockeyed, they look like they need to be about an inch shorter.

I was thinking about cutting them and welding in a piece of threaded rod.

By the way nice truck and even nicer ass!!!

HOW DID YOU LOWER THE TRUCK? I HAVE A 99 AND I HAD IT LOWERED 3" WITH COIL SPRINGS AND NOW I SWITCHED TO 3" C-ARMS AND I HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM. I RAN 15" RIMS, 17" R/T RIMS, AND NOW I HAVE 20" RIMS. IT MIGHT SIT A LITTLE WIERD BUT THATS WHY IT MOUNTED TO THE LOWER ARM WITH A BALLJOINT STYLE SETUP. THIS ALLOWS IT TO TURN AND PIVOT. MIGHT LOOK FUNNY BUT IT SHOULD BE FINE.

yeah, i'm guessing the arms take care of the problem since thats where they're mounted. mine's dropped about 4or5" with just springs. Peace
