how come dodge didn't include courtesty lights for the glove box & ashtray? 98 dakota sport 4x2 reg. cab, v-6. not a big deal, i love the truck, but it's annoying.

I thought it was so funny that an ashtray was actually an option with my '02 durango... It really annoys me to see people smoking in really nice vehicles. Yeah I know they are the ones paying for it and not me, but still... You know what I mean.

My 02QC doesnt have an ashtray (alright),but does have a light in the glove box. Just wondering....

My '99 CC 4x4 v8 has courtesy lights in both ashtray and glove box. Try lightin' up in my truck and you're ridin' in the bed!

Oh, you mean that area where I concealed my AIT adjuster box? Tucks away real nice. Otherwise useless area. I think my glove compartment has a light also.
01, QC, 4.7, 5spd manual, HO cams, etc.

My 00 CC has courtesy lights in the ashtray and glove box also....even one under the hood unlike my old Sh!tsuzu.
