Message: I have wondered similar things. I am pretty sure that the temp sensor is external on the newr trucks. WHat I wonder is what to mount the console to. Are there holes for it that fit the Mark III conversion or would it have to be fastened some other way?

Message: It is a ramair kit from www.ramairbox.com
I like the kit a lot as it has quieted the engine bay a lot as well as bringing up the horsepower a bit. It is one of those mods that has to be messured at the track since a chassis dyno won't have the same effect. If you want to contact me directly though email as to keep the post from straying, feel free.

Message: I recently purchased a 2003 quad cab. It’s fully loaded but didn’t come with the elusive overhead computer. After reading most of the postings. I was able to obtain an overhead computer on Ebay. I’m interested in hardwiring the overhead computer. The only option in the computer that I am interested in is the compass and outside temperature sensor. The computer I have has four wires attached to it. I know that one wire is the constant power, the second is ground and the third is the ignition power. I’m not sure what the forth is I’m assuming it the Outside temp reading. I got the compass to work but cant figure out how to get the outside temp to work. My truck came with a senor for outside temp. The senor has two wire going into it. How can I hardwire my over head computer so that my outside temp works. Also does anybody know what PCI bus stands for, and were can I find it in my truck. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
