Message: Anyone know a good replacement brake pad for a 99 dakota that doesn't leave alot of dust on the rims?? My stock ones are just about beat and they've always spewed way too much brake dust. Have to clean the rims alomost every other day. The stock ones lasted 60,000 miles but they're just too dirty. Any ideas? Thanks......

Message: I've been using Raybestos Quiet Stops for a while, and they have alot less brake dust than the cheap Napa replacements had i had on before. The quiet stops dont squeak (often) and leave very little break dust, the only catch, they are a bit more expensive than other pads.

Message: i'VE HAD it with brake dust!! EVERY Dakota and Durango on the road always has nasty looking front wheels!! I bought the brake dust shields from Pep Boys for $10.00 and drilled holes in them opposite the wheel openings so the rotors wouldn't warp form exsessive heat. That took care of that!

Message: Leslie
Tell us more about the titanium pads!
Do you have an idea as to how they compare to the ceramics? Do you sense they are being "kind" to your rotors? Any squeaking? Did you have to take out a loan to buy them? Manufacturer?

Message: I went down to Autozone and bought the Performance Friction Carbon pads. They work awesome, and it takes weeks of driving to even begin to notice any dust. Only cost $44
