Subject: Touch-Up Paint? (Intense Blue...) IP: Logged
Message: I banged up someone else's car door square in its center. With MY new truck durnit! Damn them for being so close to me (before I pulled in of course...)
Anyway, only got the edge of the door. What's the best source for matching intense blue touch-up paint?
Thanks!

I had to have some made up by a bodyshop. You might be able to get it from a dealer though. No aftermarket paint manufacturer makes it pre-mixed. The paint code is PB3 for Intense Blue.
Just as a sidebar, when I painted my dash, I used Dupli-Color's Metal Flake blue (CC1602). When I was done, I held it next to my Intense Blue paint and couldn't tell any difference. Might be worth a shot.

Message: You should go to your dealer. Most of them here in SoCal will give you a free bottle with your truck. I got one with mine. It has a little brush applicator which is perfect for most things. You should use the bottom of a book match to do bigger scratches.
