Message: I have a viper 550 alarm and remote start. I love it. Works great from inside and all too. I also got the window role up and down on mine. Nice to have in Florida. i paid $400 installed at a local shop. Not bad for the alarm with radar sensor, shock sensor, remote start, windows, and hood/bed cover pins. Might want to check it out on ebay, then d/l the instrutions for your dak from dei's website. Just an idea.

Message: has anyone ever tried to put one of those on a 5 speed. I know that there would be problems if you left it in gear and tried to start it. Would it be so simple as to remove the switch on the the clutch so the truck would start without the clutch pushed in. Is this even leagal? Just some thoughts cause it gets pretty cold in PA sometimes.

Message: I think clifford makes one that you can use on a manual... it isn't cheap though. Cheack them out.
