whats up man, i have a 97 'kota, and an 87 kota. my 87 overheated one time on me, it was the thermostat, after that, i had a 180 t-stat put into it, and no more problems. u've gone to a pretty good extent of replacing the radiator and hoses. check the fan and fan clutch also, some have put an electric fan on their's, im sure they'll help ya out. just make sure u have a good mix of coolant, and water, i believe a ratio of 50/50, or 70/30, depend on where u live, ne way, keep checking back here, this site has helped me lot in past couple of yrs with my 87, so i nkow its gonna help me with my 97 in the future, ttyl man.

Only had this problem once on my old '88. What i did that fixes itw as I backflushed the radiator using the kit from prestone. Worked great. Couldn't believe how much crud came out of that thing after 11 years of being in service.

With what u did so far is good but check clutch fan, put a new thermostat in it most people don't know but no thermostat will let coolant flow to fast for proper cooling and will cause overheating.
also is timing correct

hope u get er fixed soon]
