Subject: Emissions in Connecticut?? IP: Logged
Message: Hey, I was just thinkin today, I looked at my emissions sticker and it was up about a week ago, but they closed all of the testing stations in CT a couple month's ago. Anyone know what the deal is with a temp sticker or something until they re-open? I coulda sworn I remember them saying they would be sending out a temp sticker when you were do, but, I've yet to see one. Just curious if anyone know's what's goin on, since you can't get through to a live person at the DMV over the phone anymore. Thanks!

Message: The program is supposed to resume by March, 2003. Instead of the stations they have now, supposedly local shops are going to be able to do testing. All OBD-II vehicle will be tested by reading the PCM. Other vehicles will do the existing test (sniffer test on the dyno). Here's some more info:
