Message: I jsut ordered redline MTL and gear lube. How much of the 4 oz of friction modifier should I put into my 9.25" rear end?
I am looking for better shifting and a quieter rear end.

Message: If you use the proper REDLINE product in your LSD axle, there is no need to add the friction modifier. (It is allready in there)
I eMailed REDLINE inquiring what to use in my Dak and the answers came back as;
Gear unit = REDLINE product
NV3500 = MTL
NV231 = D4ATF
9.25" axle = 75W90
C205F axle = 75W90
I can tell you that the shifting is improved and my LSD rear axle has no 'studdering' problems (indicates that the included additive is sufficent)
