Subject: Brakes HELP! IP: Logged
Message: I have a 92 Dak CC 3.9L and today for aparently no reason both my Emergency brake and ABS lights came on. My GF had the truck at the time and when I got a chance to drive it all appears normal. I fill the master cylinder(s) up they were a little low and still they shine on. Any clues/ hints as to what may make these go off?

Message: Apply your emergency brake just a little until you can feel just a little resistance. Then going in reverse keep hitting the brakes, go again, hit the brakes. This will quickly adjust the rear brakes.

Message: OK, this brings up another question. I'm 19 and my dad frequently loans me the money for work to be done on my truck by charging it on his card and then I mow the yard a few times or whatever. A few months ago without my consent the emergency brake was removed from my truck. I also was not told about it until 2 weeks later. They said it was due to a defect. Could this be causing the brakes to be coming out of alignment. When so equiped I used my emerg. brake all the time. We live on a hill so it was some extra security.

Message: So is there a way to adjust them without having to have the E-brake on?
