Message: I have the z-tube and a flowmaster cat-back and it FEELS like I am getting about 20 more HP. After adding the exhuast first I did not notice much difference, but when adding the intake I could really feel a significant gain.
I also built a homemade barrier around the filter using some thin metal and I removed the flap of rubber on the grill so that it would only draw in cool air. This also made a noticeable diffrence.

Message: Thanks for the reply
I was thinking roughly 20 horsepower but wasn't rely sure I have a z-tube already and am looking at getting a guy in town to bend me up a cat back exhaust system. He wants to put turbo mufflers on because they have a nice sound but I'm kind of wondering if they will give me any power?

Message: the flowmaster cat-back develops most of its horse & torqe where the daks dont use it 6000 to 7000 rpm...better sound is about all your getting.

Message: I bought the gison system first and changed to the flowmaster because it is louder. I did not feel any difference in power.
