I checked that amp site using Sincity's links on his homepage and i saw that it is for only 99' to current for it. I have a 98'(DAMN, one year too late.) So, is this not possible?

I forget who it was, but one of the '98 owners interested in a fuel door during the group buy measured their fuel door's dimensions against an '00 and found that they were the same. A few people with '98s bought fuel doors through the group buy, and if they had any problems with them they never told me about it. I'd have to chalk it up as another manufacturer/retailer who wasn't aware of every single year their product would work for.
