Subject: site running slow? IP: Logged
Message: I went to www.speedtest.com and I am running at 936.9 kilobits per sec. I guess this is fast , but this site seems to be running very slow the last couple of days. Anyone else notice this , or is it just my stinking computer causing me greef again? Other sites seem slow also , but conecting at the above mentioned speed , what would cause that? I WANT A MAC!!!!!

Message: Yea I notice the same thing. I guess it has a lot to do with peak traffic time, slowing down the system and all.
Ken did you work out all the bugs on your computer?
Later,
Anthony

Message: Me too - boss is away for two weeks and I'm it. So far the first week was okay. Last time he went away, it was Murphy's Law, everything that couldn't break down did.
Are you familiar with Macs Ken? I love them, some PC people don't.

Message: Lesley , never touched one before , but I can bareley do anything with this PC. I just know alot of people say they don't have nearly as much problem with MAC. And this PC seems to do something different everyday!!! For now , till the kitchen is done , as long as I can get on-line , and send and receive e-mail , thats good enough for me. Once I move it back to its permanent spot , then I'm gonna have it looked at.

Message: Ken have you ran scandisk and defrag?? They might help your PC run smoother.
I thought MAC's are more geared to graphic design??

Message: Yup , I have it set up to do it every morning. Scandisk at 2:00 am and defrag at 4:00 am. I just deleted my cookies , and temp internet files , that seemed to help alot.

I talked to Mark and he said due to the extreme heat sometimes his server is slow to respond. I asked him to turn up the A/C and to change to AutoLites and Synthetic Oil.
