Subject: transfer case removal Q's... help plz? IP: Logged
Message: I am in the process of replacing my transfer case in my 88 3.9l 4x4 5spd, i've got both drive shafts out all sensors and shift linkage disconnected and i all ready to start taking out the bolts hold it to the my tranny but i'm not sure how i can get at the top bolt, it seems almost inaccessible. Is there any trick or suggestions you can give, any help would be great, thanks a lot,
-jason

Message: Just take out the trans cross member and lower the whole assembly down a bit with a floor jack so you can get to the top bolts
