Subject: Air vents? IP: Logged
Message: The air vents on the back wall of the cab... what are those for? Well duh, vent air, but why? And what would happen if those weren't there? And how would you go about getting rid of those, weld them shut? Just curious,S~

Message: They relieve pressures in the cab, making the doors easier to shut.

Message: Cool air flows into vents from them and if you wanna get rid of them,? try and tape them off with duct tape first and see what really happens. and run your ac, etc,...when they are taped up.

Message: So it should get colder in the truck? Or are you trying to say there will be no flow of air, and it won't get cold at all. I am in NC and I leave my windows cracked at least a little everywhere I go (I'm a smoker and have ventvisors) But the windows aren't ALWAYS down or cracked. I just think it would be so much easier to put a speakerbox behind the seats (which is another forum, I know) but I didn't know if my wondows would explode or something if I shut my doors with the windows up and those vents sealed off???
Pressure in the cab as I shut the door bursts my eardrums and I bleed to death on the way to work and there would be one les dak driver out there, can't have that now...S~
