Hey guys, I noticed alot of you are like 18, (I am) or so and was wandering if any of you are gonna be going to WyoTech for college? I was just wandering if I'll have any Dak friends out there. I was talking with the admissions guy and he said that I could even modd my own vehicle if I had it cleared through the president or whatever. But I'll be going in like the middle of December for the January start date, Im taking Auto Tech, Bussiness, and High Performance Engines & Chassis building. I cant wait! I'm from Kentucky so its gonna be a big change going to Wyoming!

I currently live in Cheyenne (trying to escape, hope the
job cooperates) and you better be ready for the coldest
nastiest weather you've ever experienced. The 9
months of winter in Laramie are brutal. The wind is
non-stop, but the summers are well worth the winter.
Laramie is close to some of the most beautiful
mountains you'll see. There are tons of antelope in and
around Laramie, moose can be found in town, deer and
elk and bear as well. You'll have a good time, but just
be prepared for winter - remember lots of layers and get
some sand bags for your dakota in about September -
you'll need them if you want to go anywhere...that and
4wd helps...I have both and sometimes need them both
since they only plow the snow from the three main
streets through town (if they decide to plow at all).

Good luck on school.

Hey there, I live in Laramie Wyoming and I can tell you its got its ups and downs. There are a lot of car guys here in town, especially when the college is in. Yeah sandbags would be a good idea. The summers are really nice here though, yesterday (July 2nd) it was somehting like 89 degrees here. Wyotech is a good school and its got new buildings and stuff. On friday and saturday nights you will find a lot of kids cruisn up 3rd then grand and they stop in the safeway parking lot with their nice cars and everyone is pretty nice. Yeah you can work on your own car, this one guy has his guages all over the place in his car and his plates are cocked to the sides and like sunk into his truck, its pretty cool. Plus at wyotech they let you install stuff onto your car with their tools, from lift kits to air springs you can do it all. Good luck!!
Oh yeah if you need a haircut in town go to High on Hair ;-)
