Message: Might not be the exhast but rather somthing else that only started to rattle after putting the preformance exhast on. Because the gibson is louder and has a rumble to it and at diffrent rpms the rattles change. Check near your exhast. It might also be internal. (In the muffler.

Message: I have had the same problem, I found out that it is the heat shields that are causing the problem. I am going to install some kind of spacers between each of them and the body of the truck to see if this works.

Message: I have the same rattle. I can't find anything touching that causes it. I think it is internal to the muffler. However, the rubber mounts allow the exhaust to move around a lot, so it may actually be a mechanical rub. I haven't seen any ill effects, so i am letting it go for now until warmer weather when I can get under the truck and look around comfrtably.
