Message: I'm a new owner-picked up my truck 6/17. Are the spray-on or applied liners better than drop-ins? Want to protect the truck-so far I love it! Thanks.

Message: Just got my liner sprayed in today. I went with the Line-X. I chose this because of all that I read here, and I also visited the Line-X and Rhino shops. I think they are both good products and between those 2 I would choose the shop you are more comfortable with. I think Rhino is a tad bit softer or spongier and they can't control the thickness as well on the vertical applications. The Line-X is a bit tougher and it was also cheaper for the places around here. Also, the Line-X warranty covered more things, FWIW.
They are both way better than a drop in, IMHO, but also much more $$$, of course!

Message: Spray on is the best way to go. I used Diamond Liner guaranteed for life. I recommened over the rail. There are many great spray on's. Just depends on where you are and how much you want to pay. This is an area where cheaper is well cheaper. Gotta pay for quality.
The spray on liners should stay adhered to the metal even when dented or smashed. I have heard that Linex is a good product as well. You may not find Diamond Liner in your area.

Message: Hi,
I have a Mopar Under-The-Rail bedliner because it came free with the truck. Really it's of little use to be as I have a fiberglass tonneau cover as well. I do like it though as it has the holes in it to get to the tie downs if I should ever need to.

Aaron

Message: Drops in look nice but boy is it a REAL PAIN IN THE A$$ to have to clean underneath it. Gotta take it out and then put it back in. Time consuming. I wish I would have found this site prior to buying my Dakota. I would have gone with a spray in instead. For now I'll just have to deal.

Message: Beauty about the spray-in is that nothing slides around. You put something in the bed drive SOB and it doesn't move.
Pain in the %$# about the spray-in is that nothing slides in. You try to slide a piece of plywood, drywall, ect. into the bed and it aint gonna happen... unless you put down a couple of firr'en strips first.
I would never get a drop in one. Stuff slides around and it scratches/scuffs up the paint in the bed anyway.

Message: I have the Rhino Liner and love it. Nothing slides around and it is very durable. I'm always putting my dirtbikes in and out of it and it's saved me more than a few dings and scratches. Plus, it's very easy to clean (hose it out!)
I went with the over the rail liner and I'm glad I did.

Message: Just got my truck last week... and I'm getting a Line-X over the rail as we speak (it's at the shop right now.)
I had a tough time deciding between over and under the rail... eventually decided on over the rail. Just seems like, if you're gonna get one... might as well make it as protective as possible. :-)

Message: Jonny O. Man I struggled with that too. I finally decided to go with under the rail and next I'm gonna get stainless bedrail caps. I am trying to keep a chrome theme outside the truck. Man that Line-X is nice....I keep looking at it :)

Message: quack-dak... that's a good idea (though I'd probably just end up scratching the chrome bed-rails up!) :-) I too like the chrome look... a lot!
I'm getting a super-sweet deal on my bedliner though because there was a minor paint blemish in the bed of my truck when I took delivery of it, so the dealer is picking up a little over half of the cost of the spray-in (as opposed to repainting the bed so I can just put a liner in it anyway!) :-)
Tough to beat a Line-X spray-in for only $150! :-)
How much are the chrome bed-rails?

Message: I'm debating between the Signature spray in bed liner and the LineX. I've read alot of the posts and it seems most really like LineX. Does anyone have any experience with the Signature?
