 Subject: My First Hot Rod Show

LOL, my truck was inadvertently in its first hot
rod show today.
I work at a newspaper, and part of my job is
putting together the weekly auto section. I wanted
to get lots of pics from the show today to go in
this week's edition. There were people directing
cars to parking areas, and I was directed to a
spot on the grass with the exhibitors. LOL - there
were almost as many folks checking out my truck as
some of the gorgeous street rods! If I had known,
I would have cleaned the engine and popped the
hood.

When I was setting up my Mustang at a classic car show allot of people were also looking at my quad cab while I was unloading supplies. One lady asked if it was in the show.
I wish I had entered it in the truck class. Then I would have had a place to jump inside and cool off for a while.

It runs as a supplement every Thursday. It's basically an advertising paper for cars, but they've allowed me to have some fun with the extra space, writing the odd local story, or taking pictures from the big car shows.

Thanks, I'll have to check it out on Thursday. I'm assuming you work for the Ex.? I was up north on a fishing trip all week but when I went thru town on Sunday I saw some signs advertising a car show. I wanted to go have a look but I had to get back to T.O. (unfortunately) LOL
