Subject: Tire suggestions????? IP: Logged
Message: Hi, I have a 2000 Quad Cab 4x4 with the tire and handling package and I'm going to have to get new tires pretty soon. Anyone have any suggestions?
I want a all terrain tire and I've looked at
BFGAT's, General GrabberATs and have seen some Cooper tires that all look pretty good. The Goodyear Wrangler RTS pretty much sucks, Good quiet ride and good wear, but not much for snow performance but ok for an offroad excursion as long as its dry. Please give me some suggestions, also I want something white lettered to have good looks also.

Message: I too hate the GDYR RTS. I'm going to the BFG All Terrains for the same reason. Better winter performance, good looking, nice solid white lettering. I'm going one step further, I have a 2000 also, but i'm changing rims and going to 16".
Then I can go to 265/75R16 or 275/70R16. A little taller, a little wider, no rubbing.

Message: I went to tirerack.com and got new Pirrelli Scorpions. They were 71 bucks a piece, and worth every penny. I just got them last week and I can tell there is a huge difference in performance. I no longer peel out all the time and the wet traction rocks.
