Subject: sos help please IP: Logged
Message: Ok i unpluged one of the sensors on the TB(the white one on the right side. I just unplud it to see if they were esay to unplug. But i pluged it back and then i started the car and the CHEAC ENGEN light came on? DID me umpluging the sensor do it or what!! How can i reset it!! Please help, or sould i take it to the dearler ASAP!

Reset the computer and see if that eliminates the code. Also double check to make sure you plugged the connector all the way in.

Message: To reset the computer you have to disconnect the battery. I believe a partial reset only requires you to disconnect the battery for a few seconds. A complete reset will require the battery to be disconnected for 30 minutes or so. I'm not positive on those numbers though. The partial should work to get rid of the code. You may want to check with your lovely, local Dodge dealer.

Message: To reset the PCM, disconnect the cable on the negative terminal of the battery. Hop in the truck and turn the ignition to Start for 20 seconds. Reconnect the battery and see if that helps.
