Message: Sad to say, but the best part of my date last night was the drive home afterwards. Was cruising on beltway 8 in South Houston and started messing with a VTEC Civic, exhaust and intake from the sound of it. We were doing about 100 snaking thru traffic and he flashes his hazards at me like he is playing a jap racer video game. Duh, it was kinda obvious we were racing, amateur hour. So I would be at about 80 and I would see him take off and gain speed so I nailed it in 5th and he could never get past me, just kept cutting him off up to about 105 or so. Later he pulls up and drops a gear so for some reason I tried 3rd at 65 or so, didn't need it, jumped to 4th and pulled away pretty nice. 3.92's make 3rd obsolete at that speed. I was gonna follow him on some slower speed roads so I could really spank him but he wasn't going my direction. He gave me a nod and I beeped the horn, pretty cool. Later it was when I realized I had my A/C on the whole time. Man, bet I woulda really schooled him then. But this 4.7 is not as fast up high as I thought it was. Need to get some mods and open it up. At least he didn't have the 2 foot wing.

Message: I live in Clear Lake, was driving between Highway 35 and I-45. Hop lives down the street from me and he is interested in the Houston Club, so I think we should have a meeting soon. Not having much luck with email responses.

Message: Soooo....what was so bad about your date? ; )
I know what you mean about the 4.7 in the higher speeds. It's got it in the low end but darn that higher end. Might be the 392's as well. Same thing with my 4L high output...until I put intake, headers, and exhaust on it. Opened the higher-end right up.

Message: My guess, Justin, is that they're young . The young ones always go off early, prematurely if you will. They just don't know the greater satisfaction of letting things go all the way to a proper finish or climax.

Message: Flash their lights? Man, that is retarded, I would just laugh at them. One guy really pissed me off I raced, he'd swerve when a car was coming up at the last possible second instead of just changing lanes smoothly. Idiot in a Bimmer. There should be a street racing protocol manual. That way these fools in Jap Crap would learn the right way. They shouldn't be hopping up their mother's grocery getter anyway.

Message: LOL Hammerdak, no inuendo there
hey not all 18 year olds are bad,
im 18 and i drive my slow old gen 1 dak, im gonn paint "ricer rammer" on my grill gaurd and bounce them little f#ckers off it, but i tell ricers all the time i will race them, they are like w00h00 EASY WIN!, until i inform them i get to choose the track, lol. a subaru forester accepted and we went off to do a little hill climb, he was a rich boy still in high school driving a 2001 subaru forester, well i took the hill first, it was basicly a one lane deal, so it wasnt so much of a race than a challenge, i go first, got stuck near the top and started spining, so i back up through the ditch and into the road, get a run at it and bottom out on the top but i made it up it, (Go skid plates) well hes like, hahahaha, i have AWD and will make it, he gets a run at it and gets hung up at the same place i bottomed out, but his wheel is hanging, mine had enough to keep going, hi was hanging and he was going no where, so we had to push him down the hill so he could get a run at it like i did, down the hill and into the ditch, but he didnt have my ground clearence so he backed up and backed right into the blacktop shoulder of the road and crunched his ricer exhaust and the motor killed cuz he jolted it so hard, then he could not figure out why it would not start and he still had it in reverse, LOL
he was one of them damnn kids you speak of
LOL
I WIN
