My girl friend had hit the brakes one day while we were on our way to six flags and the anti lock brakes kicked in. I want to know if there is a way to unlock them without having to go to a mechanic and paying extreme money to do it.
I want to know how i can do it myslef, is there a way to do that?

why would you want to take of the ABS feature? It pumps the breaks faster than a human ever could making the vehicle stop as quickly as possible.

I installed the Pop-n-Lock this weekend. It works great. Even if someone pops the bezel off and tries to move the lock bar, there's a cam that keeps it from moving, so it is secure. Install was simple. The toughest part was running the wire loom up through the chassis. The instruction said to run through a grommet in the firewall, but I took the advice of other posts and sliced a hole in the e-brake cable grommet, and ran it up to the CTM from there. Easy...
