Subject: American Iron IP: Logged
Message: Just received the April edition of C/D magazine and there is an article titled "American Iron" in which they preview/review/rate four full-sized pickups. Why the TRD (AKA - Turd) Tundra is in this mix (American Iron) is beyond me... but they are rated #4 - #1. THE WINNERS ARE:
#4 - Ford F150 Lariat
#3 - Toyota Tundra Limited (TRD - "turd")
#2 - Chevrolet Silverado LS
#1 - Dodge Ram 1500 SLT (Lows - Base 4.7 V8 struggles against the 5460-pound weight, 20-inch tires feel all the bumps, 4WD lever on the tunnerl unless you pay extra for electronic switching. The Verdict - Everything that's wonderful, and everything that's embarrassing about America).
I expect they're referring to the advertisement on the back cover "Cadillac Escalade EXT." Be serious -- will this thing ever see a dirt road, a load of mulch, an a$$ full of trash heading for the dump?? - Jim

Message: Look on page 80. At the bottom where the vital stats are. If you read the toyota stats, it looks like this- Toyota Tundra Limited Access cab.
elsewhere in the issue, it says that gm is going to make a smaller version of the avalanche based on the redesigned sonoma.
