Another testament to the greatness of the Dakota:
A friend of mine and I both have to drive to washington this weekend from colorado springs and because we have to take 2 vehicles, we decided that one of us would tow the other on a trailer. Well he drives a '82 chevy 4WD stepside 3" lift with a 315hp 350. We got into a debate about who is going to tow who. So to figure it out we decided to each tow the other's truck for a day and compare mileage/power/etc. Well when we were done the dakota ('92 AWD, 4-6 drop, 5.2) towed the chevy with ease. The true test came down to a large hill in the area where the chevy couldn't go any faster than 50 mph with the dakota behind it but the dak was well up above 70 cruising at 3k with plenty of room to go.
It'll be kinda funny seeing this lowered dakota towing this lifted chevy on the interstate. hehe
