I have a 97 V6 Dakota. I just found a 01 R/T throttle body on eBay for cheap. It's a used for about 5K miles and it's 50mm. Would this fit on my V6 with no problems? It comes with the hardware it says. Is it identical to the one Bernd has on his site?

I'm pretty sure you can use that throttle body, but you need to get the kit from Bernd so you don't have to modify your linkage.

It is a 48mm TB...see the stamp on the TB he had it turned upside down so U can barely tell. So either he is tryin to pull a fast one on you or is ignorant about it. It is a V8 TB either way, just to let you know its 48 and not 50.

V8 TB 48mm
I just bought mine from the Dodge dealer $190. and it had the TPS & IAC sensors already on it, all I had to do was screw the MAP sensor on. also had the throttle bracket on it, 4 more bolts to hold it down and I was done with the TB, changing the Throttle cable is a breeze also, about an hour to do it all well worth it!
Brent you will need a V8 throttle cable for the GEN DAK you have to put the V8 TB on.
Also I like how these guys put "RT" on there stuff to get it to sell.

I was just in doubt because it said 50 mm and i'm not too familiar with R/T's to know what they came with and I thought 50mm might be a little too big for my V6

Also you might want to pick up a TB gasket # 53030541

I bought an R/T TB, it is just a stock V8.
All you need to buy to install it is a new gasket (under $3) and a V8 throttle cable (around $25) you can get them both at the dealer.
97 3.9 CC Sport. Black. Auto 3.55
