Subject: Alarm/no start: Problem solved! IP: Logged
Message: Ok Kevster and anyone else interested.. it WAS an after market alarm installed by the previous owner of the truck. A wire behind a kick panel under the dash had some insulation stripped and was grounding/shorting out!. So $125.00 later the truck is OK and I had them rip the alarm out..
Anyone in the market for an alarm system? :)
Thanks for all the responses.

Message: Hey Dave, I had the Evs Alarm II installed from Dodge when i got my Dokota, (245.00) just for the install, had to take it back because it would not disarm when u unlock the doors, the alarm would go off every time. Now it give's you about 4 sec's to get in and start the truck before it goes off again... I dont think dodge here knows how to fix or install there own stuff!!! Darren in Colorado
