Message: I was driving my truck this weekend on the highway and the engine just died. It will not restart. All of the fuses are ok and the relays are fine. What could be wrong? I put a spark tester on the main wire coming from the coil and i am not getting any kind of spark. A book I have says to check for voltage at the coil with the key on..... i dont get a voltage reading till i try and crak the engine... could this be whats wrong ?

Message: Did you check for any codes? Normally, and in a case like this, the PCM will store a code with the fault. No spark could be coil, cap, crank sensor, cam sensor, PCM.

Message: I checked all of the sensors with a OHM meater and they checked out fine. I installed a new cap 2 weeks ago and the PCM is about 4 months old..
I have a MSD Blaster SS coil. I checked the resistance and I am getting about 3000 ohms on the secondary and no reading on the primary . I am useing a analog OHM meter ......
